Green River Preserve and The Flat Rock Playhouse are partnering this summer (2012) for a week of theater and nature.
Together, the GRP Staff and The Flat Rock Playhouse YouTheatre Staff will use nature as an inspiration for art.

The Flat Rock Playhouse YouTheatre Staff is a group of artists with real professional experience at the highest levels of artistic achievement.

“YouTheater teaches more than just artistic skills . . . it teaches life skills.  Sure, kids learn acting, music, art and dance, but they also learn reading and writing skills, public speaking, creativity, self-confidence, and team work. We don’t just want to turn out great theatre artists, we also want to turn out great doctors and lawyers, teachers and bankers.
