Mini Camp Opening Day

By Sandy Schenck

Today was opening day for the first ever mini camp for 7-9 year olds. Campers arrived starting at 8:30AM and we are just now getting done with all of our activities for the day. Once the campers got settled into their cabins, they all pledged to uphold the Woodcrafter Laws in the respect circle. After this, they put on bathing suits and participated in a swimming skills review. Next it was time to watch some funny skits and sign up for four different activities to do for the rest of camp. Dinner and the Upper Council fire followed rounding out the evening.
