Outer Banks Expeditions Session 3, July 27

By Sandy Schenck

The Outer Banks Expeditioners are off to a great start! After meeting and greeting on the 25th, they proceeded up toward the beginning of the White Oak River. The White Oak River is a black water river that runs through the Croatan National Forest. The expedioners spent yesterday getting down their kayaking skills on the Quarry Lakes and began their paddle down the White Oak River today – yeah! More information about their journey to come and photos will be posted as soon as they arrive via snail mail from the coast.
