Outer Banks Expeditions Session 3, July 30

By Sandy Schenck

Pictures have arrived, take a look and see what they have been doing! Today, the expeditioners headed to Shackleford Island to begin their tour of the Outer Banks. Shackleford is home to a band of wild ponies and also has some of the best shelling around. Tonight, the expeditioners are camping at Whale Creek. They have their own coastal version of a Grand Slam and today they saw 3 of the animals! They saw a Stingray, an Osprey and a Lightning Whelk.
