The morning started with breakfast at 8AM followed immediately by mentor hikes to the Balds, Fawn Lake, the Hemlock field, Turkey field, and the Indian Cave. It would have been a normal morning except both of the Balds groups saw a grand slam animal. The Upper Bald to Lower Bald group saw wild turkeys and the Lower Bald to Upper Bald group saw a huge timber rattlesnake. All we need for a grand slam is to see a bear! After lunch the campers started new activities today and will continue them tomorrow. The evening activity scheduled for tonight is Bob Tag, but it is thunderstorming now so that may be postponed.
