The Green River Preserve abides by the following application and screening processes for all new staff and for returning staff that have had more than a 12-month gap in their employment at The Preserve.
- General employment application with list of qualifications completed and reviewed.
- References: minimum of three checked and a valid background check.
- Insurance company drivers’ license review
- Verification of previous work/volunteer history
- Personal interview: Personal interviews are normally face-to-face interviews conducted by the director, assistant director, or their designated representative. An interview at camp is preferable, but we are willing to meet you at a mutually agreeable time and location. In the event that a personal interview is not possible, a telephone interview will be conducted.
- On the job observation.
