Hi, I'm Richard!
After growing up in Wilmington, NC, Richard Moon studied graphic design at NC State University and Art Education at the University of Georgia. He was a counselor and mentor for the Green River Preserve from 1993 to 1997 and a mentor in the summers of 2014 and 2015. He has been an environmental education instructor, art teacher, pottery instructor, and adjunct professor for Roanoke College and Hollins University. He currently resides in Roanoke, Virginia, where he is the Coordinator of Art for Roanoke County Public Schools. Richard is excited to be sharing the camp experience with his daughter, Blair, a third time GRP camper this summer.
