A Taylorsville, North Carolina native, Drew grew up being very active in sports and quickly developed a love for the outdoors. He wanted to be a marine biologist when he got older but all that changed once he discovered the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking and being out in the woods became one of his favorite hobbies. He takes frequent trips up to the Asheville and Waynesville area for day hikes. Drew is currently a student at CVCC (Catawba Valley Community College) and his plan is to transfer to WCU (Western Carolina University) to pursue Parks and Recreational Management. This will be Drew’s second summer here at GRP and he is very excited to be re-joining the family!
