Hi, I’m Julien!

Counselor

As a North Carolina native, Julien spent his childhood in the woods behind his house, building stick bridges across streams and getting covered in mud. He came to camp as a third-generation camper as his parents were GRP counselors in college, and his grandmother was a camp nurse. Julien spent three summers exploring the preserve before aging out. Now at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Julien is studying chemistry and writing fiction in his spare time. This summer will be his second year as a counselor at GRP, and he can’t wait to get back to making memories!
