Hi, I’m Violeta!

Counselor

From Mexico City, Violet discovered her passion for sharing her energy with children and young people by participating in various camps and summer courses from a young age. Violet is 28 years old, has a degree in Communication Sciences and has a diploma in digital marketing and advertising on social networks. Her biggest hobbies are hiking, taking photographs and practicing yoga. She is currently a babysitter for two children. What fills Violet’s soul and spirit the most is being able to share time with children and young people, teach them values, support them in their daily tasks, habits and responsibilities, but she also enjoys all the energy that they can transmit to her, she likes to play with them, dance, draw and do crafts. Violet has had experience caring for children and young people, she has worked as a Camp Counselor in summer courses and has participated as staff in camps for young leaders. One of her greatest dreams since she was a child is to be part of a camp in the United States and to be able to live the experience of being far from home, surrounded by people from different countries, cultures and traditions. For Violet, one of the most important values of human beings is inclusion. Violet found in Green River Preserve, an opportunity to demonstrate her skills and abilities working with children and young people through active listening, understanding, teaching through example such important values as empathy, honesty, teamwork and patience, tools that children and young people will be able to take advantage of throughout their lives. What Violet is most passionate about being part of the Green River Preserve family is the opportunity to connect children with the wonders of nature, since the extraordinary natural environment of Green River Preserve inspires campers to have a greater understanding of themselves, their environment and others.
