Hi, I’m McKay!

Climbing Coordinator

McKay grew up playing in forests and streams in the woods of Vermont, and naturally found a love working and playing outside. McKay majored in Outdoor Education where she got to spend 3 semesters backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, and mountaineering, all over Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Vermont! McKay finds so much joy in working with kids, teens, and young adults in the outdoors, watching them overcome challenges, learn new skills, grow and connect with folks and the natural world! She is so excited to return to GRP for her second year as the LIT expedition leader! Last year was such a dream she just had to come back for more!
